Originally by: Audrea I used a Thorax, outfitted with 5 small named blasters, 1600mm rolled plating, named med armor rep, hardeners etc..
First mistake, 1600mm plates give you penalties, at least that's what I've been told/read.

2) The new npcs are way too fast imo - this causes significant problems in keeping them in range of my small blasters. especially in group - when they decide to target another ship, they go faster than I can keep pace, and if I turn on the MWD, I end up outside range again.
Proposed solution:
- Perhaps doing something like ctrl+click on module would turn it off right away?
- Slow down the npcs, if there is a player within say, 2km from them?
Solution: Fit on a web that's what they're there for.

3) It seems that using blaster setup, is highly weak now against NPCs for another reason: they all somehow are spawned within the rocks - or there are rocks between me and them. so in order to get close enough, I have to burn a lot of MWD, tank fire for long time, loose time while 'stuck' between the rocks, and in addition a lot of firepower lost due to previous problem (fast npcs).
Proposed solution:
- Make ships moving with MWD pass the rocks and not getting stuck with them?
- Make the rats spawn outside the rocks?
Fix the spawns in other words? Not likely.. Asteroids spawns are random there by what works one day won't work another. Unless CCP puts in a line of code giving the asteroids a tag and then somehow stating "If SPAWN isin 5000m's of ROID > Move spawn 10000 meters".

4) Loot tables indeed got better, but now, instead of basic crap - 600K+ valued BShips give normal tech1 unnamed items I didnt get this point - was it suppose to be sad joke or something? whats the point to update the loot table, and still give standard things like Statis Webifier I from BS? while true that there were also better items and some named as well, but it would be good idea to just remove those things - they worth 20-50k on TQ, why not to clean the loot table from this crap on BS as well?
Idea:
Why not make the loot table to factor in the player's security status into the calculation? I mean, if u got 0.0 as sec status - ur chance to get good loot is lower than if u got +5 or -5. how does this idea sound? it would encourage players to get out to 0.0 so they can quickly gain sec stats increase perhaps?
Yet again favouring the veteran and not the noobie. So in otherwords, the longer you play, the higher the sec rating the better the loot? What about pirates who go rat hunting? They get ****ted on this way and it makes them gate camp even more.

Any other feedback/ideas/suggestions - feel free to add here.
Done and done.
Some 'ok' ideas but the rest are just whine as from your post you can't keep up with the dynamics of the game.
